Aram Ghoogasian: Protesters must review past US actions before labeling Iran as evil

Protests against the actions of the United States government aren’t uncommon in times of war. But last week, diplomacy was the source of outrage. A crowd of hundreds of people assembled outside the federal building in Westwood to protest the nuclear deal recently signed between Iran, China, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Germany and a European Union representative. Chloe Lew: LA City Council must follow through on promise to repair sidewalks

Our city’s sidewalks are crumbling, and with them, my faith in the Los Angeles City Council. More than 40 years after it said it would repair our buckled, tree-damaged sidewalks, and almost two months after it agreed in an Americans with Disabilities Act case to spend $1.4 billion to fix them, the city is now recommending commercial property owners repair their sidewalks by themselves.
